Water saving
We are committed to the responsible use of water. For this reason, we have implemented recycling systems through reverse osmosis, which allow us to recover and reuse all the water used in our manufacturing processes. Thanks to this process, we significantly reduce water consumption and minimize our environmental impact, promoting more sustainable production.
Solar energy
We rely on solar energy as our primary energy source, which allows us to significantly reduce our carbon footprint and help save hundreds of trees each year. With this initiative, we reaffirm our commitment to the environment and a more sustainable future. We avoid emitting 314 tons of CO2 annually, equivalent to 25,200 trees.
Sustainable transport
Kimer is committed to reducing CO2 emissions; therefore, we strive to maximize the shipping and receiving of products via rail transport.
Material recycling
We focus on maximizing material reuse, recycling down to the smallest detail. To ensure efficient and sustainable recovery, we apply processes such as pyrolysis, which allows us to remove paints and coatings from products without damaging them, thus facilitating their full recycling.
ISO 14001
We hold the ISO 14001 certification, an international standard that endorses the implementation of an effective environmental management system. This certification recognizes our commitment to sustainability, compliance with current environmental legislation, and the continuous improvement of our processes to reduce environmental impact. Through this standard, we responsibly manage resource use, waste control, and pollution prevention in all our operations.
Plastic reduction
Kimer places the highest priority on optimizing our packaging to reduce the amount of plastic used.
