Cantilever
Kimer’s Cantilever is a system specially designed for storing long-length and irregularly shaped goods such as metal bars, structural profiles, wooden panels, pipes, and other similar materials.
Its modular structure allows for the configuration of load levels on one or both sides of the central upright, maximizing storage capacity and enabling direct access to each load unit.
The system includes adjustable cantilever arms, designed to adapt according to the dimensions and weight of the stored material.
Advantages
The cantilever racking system is designed to offer a flexible, highly functional solution for storing long and bulky loads.
- Wide range of column and arm sections available, specifically designed to support light, medium, or heavy loads
- Movable arms with an anti-collision system that allows the arm to lift in the event of accidental impact
- High adaptability and flexibility
- Structure designed for quick and efficient installation
- Simple assembly and low-maintenance costs
Practical Applications
- Designed for logistics and industrial environments that require specialized systems for handling and storing products of considerable length, volume, or irregular geometry, such as metal profiles, pipes, boards, beams, panels, or raw materials.
- Ideal for products that, due to their shape or size, cannot be stored in conventional pallet racking systems.
- Multiple consecutive modules can be installed to create continuous storage lines, significantly increasing load capacity without sacrificing direct access to each unit.
Why Choose Kimer?
01. SPACE SAVING
Easily configurable racking systems that adapt to different heights and types of goods.
In addition, our technical department can study each case on a personalized basis in order to develop the ideal racking layout for each warehouse.
02. VERSATILITY
Possibility of incorporating double or single-sided racking depending on storage needs.
03. EASY ASSEMBLY
Elements designed and developed to combine simplicity and efficiency, allowing for easy assembly and also facilitating future adaptations.
04. QUALITY
Components manufactured with high-quality steel profiles. We use only epoxy paint and galvanized strapping, which guarantee the best protection against corrosion and an outstanding finish.
05. MOVABLE ARM
In the event of an impact, the force is not transmitted to the column, as the arm lifts up and can later return to its original position.

Column
Kimlever columns function as the central axis of the system. The arms rest on them, transmitting the load to the floor.
This is a custom-developed structural element, adapted to height and load requirements. K300 profiles can be used for heavy loads, and K150 profiles for medium and light loads.
Available finishes:
Blue RAL 5003
Pre-galvanized
Base
Connects the column to the floor and anchors it through the base-to-floor fixing. Two profiles are positioned horizontally on the floor, with the column located between them.
The base-to-floor fixings are positioned at the ends of the base and anchored to the floor, ensuring installation safety.

Available finishes:
Orange RAL 2004
Bracing
Provides longitudinal bracing to the cantilever system. Depending on the load and the forklift to be used, Kimer can adapt the distance between columns.

Arm Stop
Positioned at the outer end of the arm, the arm stop is a highly recommended element to ensure safety in the cantilever system, as it prevents the supported materials from falling.

Pre-galvanized
Finishes
Pre-galvanized
Kimer uses only galvanized steel with Z275 quality or higher.
This quality contains a higher zinc content, which under normal indoor conditions provides the best protection against oxidation.
Painted
Kimer uses only high-quality epoxy paint with a glossy finish. We have state-of-the-art machinery to achieve the best corrosion protection without sacrificing a uniform and aesthetic finish. Our automated robotic tunnels apply the following treatments:
Degreasing
Phosphating: Kimer does not use polluting elements in this process
Washing with running water
Washing with demineralized water: the water used in our facilities is treated by reverse osmosis so it can be reused
Painting with fire-retardant paint, class M-1 according to UNE Standard 23.727-90, applied by electrostatic projection

Regulations
Kimer cantilever installations are among the safest on the market, as we apply the most restrictive standards. The main elements of the system are tested. For cantilever calculations, Kimer applies the following standards:
FEM 10.2.09 – Design of cantilever racking
EUROCODE 3 – Application and maintenance of storage systems
Safety and Deflection Coefficients
- Safety factor: 1.4.
- Permissible deflection at the last load level
- Permissible deflection at arm ends: L/200
