Shelving Technical Inspections
At Kimer, we are highly committed to customer safety.
We have a team of highly trained and experienced technicians capable of carrying out racking inspections in the most rigorous and efficient manner possible.
According to the UNE-EN 58014 standard, the customer is required to perform an annual racking inspection.
Our technical team identifies and evaluates potential damage, defects, or deterioration that may compromise the safety, functionality, or efficiency of the facilities.
Process
Each finding is classified according to a color-coded risk system:
- Red Risk: Critical damage requiring immediate intervention due to imminent danger to the infrastructure.
- Amber Risk: Moderately severe faults that do not pose an immediate risk but must be addressed within a reasonable timeframe.
- Green Risk: Minor observations that do not significantly affect safety or functionality, but should be monitored or corrected preventively.
Once the inspection is complete, we prepare a detailed technical report which is delivered to the customer. This report includes:
- A description of the findings categorized by risk level
- Specific action recommendations
- Materials that need to be replaced or repaired
- Suggested timelines for implementing corrective measures
This process enables the customer to make informed decisions and prioritize the necessary actions to maintain their facilities in optimal safety and operating conditions.
